Ancora forms a worldwide network for those who want to support vocations in the Catholic Church. Each Ancora member receives an Ancora card on which they gather signatures of priests, nuns, consecrated members, deacons and religious. They take this card to their weekly adoration to pray for the perseverance and fidelity of these vocations by name.
 It hosts local, national, and international conventions for girls ages 11 to 17 with workshops, dynamic speakers, activities, and missions. These conventions offer opportunities to meet other members from around the world and grow spiritually through Mass, confession, and adoration.
After these conventions, Ancora members go home and participate in local activities in their cities and parishes, carrying out initiatives to support the Holy Father and vocations.
Ancora hosts three weekend conventions per year for girls ages 11 to 17 and two longer conventions before Christmas and Easter for girls in eighth to eleventh grade. There is also a dynamic summer convention in June for girls ages 11-15. |

In the eight years of its existence, Ancora has touched the lives of more than one thousand girls. Ancora members have done many hours of adoration for vocations. Little by little, this dynamic apostolate has begun to change the world in answer to the call of the Vicar of Christ. In his apostolic trip to St. Louis in 1999, John Paul II told young people, “Christ is calling you. The Church needs you. The Pope believes in you.” Pope Benedict XVI has also invited the youth to join him in supporting the Church and defending the faith in today’s world.

- Mail in your name, age, e-mail and phone number with $15.00 (for US and Canada)check made out to Ancora to become an Ancora member. The $15.00 is for the Ancora packet that you will receive, which contains an Ancora notebook, the Ancora bear, prayer card for the Pope and vocations, your signature card and your official Ancora I.D. You are also helping to support vocations economically!
- You will receive your membership packet in the mail and you will be a full fledged member ready to pray for and support the Pope and vocations!
