3. How can I grow closer to Mary?
Treat her with the same love you would treat your own mother β tell her about your day, your fears, your dreams β ask her to help you stay close to her Son, and thank her for her presence beside you throughout the hard times, just as she accompanied Jesus to the cross. But most of all, imitate her virtues of faith, hope, love, obedience, generosity, humility, sincerity. The more you become like her, the closer you will be to her, and closer you will be to Christ, as St. Louis Grignion de Monfort said: βTo Jesus through Mary.β |
